Plavac Tihe braće, Vinum plenum

Description

Dry, full bodied wine. The classical strong Plavac, harmonious and elegant. Aromas of plum, sour cherry, and blackberry, with notes of griotte, and blueberry chocolate. Dark ruby colour.

Single varietal wine, made from the grapes from our own vineyard. Sandy soil and 13 year old vine. Handpicked. Five days of maceration and one year of maturation in oak barriques (mixture of old and new ones). Additional maturation in stainless steel tanks and bottles.
We designated it as „plenum” (latin for „full, large, complete”) in order to accentuate its typical varietal structure, as a counterpart to the lighter structure of our 2018 vintage.
