Plavac Tihe braće, Vinum dives

Description

Odd-dry, full bodied wine. A strong Plavac from a dry year, opulent and elegant. Aromas of plum, sour cherry, and blackberry, with notes of bilberry and currant. Dark ruby colour.

Varietal wine, enriched by the additon of Dobričić and Crljenak kaštelanski, varieties considered to be the parents of Plavac mali. Made from the grapes from our own vineyard. Sandy soil and 14 year old vine. Handpicked. Five days of maceration and one year of maturation in oak barriques (mixture of old and new ones). Additional maturation in stainless steel tanks and bottles.

„Dives“ is a latin adjective, denoting richness and abundance.
