Vugava

Description

Dry, full bodied wine. Succulent, aromatic and complex. Aromas of citrus fruit (grapefruit, lime) and mellon, with overtones of quince and violet. Medium gold colour.

Varietal wine, enriched with the addition of Pošip and Rukatac. Handpicked. Vintage comes partly from the sandy soil of our own vineyard (7 year old vine), and partly from terra rossa of our subcontractor’s vineyard. No maceration, cold fermentation of clarified must. Kept in the stainless steel tanks, with a part aged for 3 months in the new tonneau barrel before being mixed in with the rest.

Central and southern Dalmatia, wine region Vis. From the positions in Tihobraće polje and Dračevo polje.

Sold out. In late spring, a new wine from the 2025 harvest will be available.
