Life is full of phases

‘The moon is on the celestial firmament’, Telećan once translated a quote with which Borges started a story. I don’t have the books at hand to see which one, but it doesn’t matter, it’s just that ‘firmament’ is somehow a beautiful word (from ‘firmamentum’, right).

Anyway, the moon is here under it, neither in the sky nor on the earth. (Well, okay, it’s on a little wall.) To the left is the juice that will become wine*, to the right is the juice that is becoming wine. Completely to the right is missing the juice that has become wine, but the flow of time did not allow them to be simultaneously in the picture.

* – it won’t, I drank it [note by the author]
